When I was 12 years old, I went shopping in a used book store with my aunt. She picked up a battered book and told me that she had read it when she was my age. Upon further reflection, she was probably a good deal older because the book ranged from the topics of cocaine, redheads, pyramids, and a golden ball. Thus began a life long love affair with a nonexistent red headed outlaw and a now 73 year old man named Tom Robbins.
